The Dig Co. is a coaching practice run by me, Savannah Simpson, from British Columbia, Canada. This policy explains what personal information I collect through thedigco.com and my programs, why I collect it, who helps me handle it, and the choices you have. I follow British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act and, where it applies, Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act.
I use your information to deliver the programs you've chosen, respond to you, process payments, send the emails you've signed up for, keep the site secure and improve my work. I don't sell your personal information, and I don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.
A few trusted service providers process information on my behalf, and only for the purposes above:
Some of these providers store information outside Canada, including in the United States. Information held there may be subject to the laws of that country. If I add a new tool that handles your information, I'll update this policy.
The voice twin on this site is an AI that speaks in my cloned voice. It's there so you can get a feel for how I think before you decide anything.
When you talk with it, your voice, a transcript of what you say and the twin's replies are processed by ElevenLabs. ElevenLabs may process and store that information outside Canada, including in the United States, under its own privacy policy.
I use these conversations only to understand what women are bringing to the twin and to improve how it answers. The twin never asks for your name or contact details, and I'd encourage you to keep anything identifying or health-related out of the conversation.
The twin offers coaching information. It isn't therapy, diagnosis or crisis support. If you're in crisis, call or text 988, or call 911 in an emergency.
My clinical background informs my work, but coaching through The Dig Co. is not clinical care, and I don't keep clinical records. Please share only what you're comfortable sharing in your reflections. What you share stays between us and the service providers listed above.
I keep your information for as long as you have an account or are enrolled in a program, and afterwards only as long as I need it for the purposes above. Financial records are kept for six years, as Canadian tax law requires. When I no longer need information, I delete it or make it anonymous.
I use reputable providers with strong security, limit access to your information to myself, and protect my accounts with secure passwords and two-step sign-in. If a breach ever creates a real risk of significant harm to you, I'll tell you and the appropriate privacy commissioner.
You can ask to see the personal information I hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, including any Voice Twin conversation. You can unsubscribe from my emails at any time using the link in every email. You can also withdraw your consent to my using your information, although I may not be able to keep delivering a program without it. I'll respond to requests within thirty days.
This site uses cookies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences and understand how the site is used. You can control cookies in your browser settings. For details, see my Cookie Policy.
My programs are for adults. I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under eighteen.
I'm responsible for privacy at The Dig Co. You can reach me at hello@thedigco.com.
If you're not satisfied with my response, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia (oipc.bc.ca) or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca).
I'll update this policy when my practices change, and I'll change the date at the top when I do.
